Breakfast will be available at a local restaurant along the way (at your own expense). 11:00 AM: Arrive in Chợ Rã Town and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards, transfer to Pác Ngòi Village, a traditional Tày ethnic village nestled along the shores of Ba Bể Lake, where you will check in and have time to relax. 02:00 PM: Proceed to the boat pier and begin your journey to explore Ba Bể Lake, one of the world's largest and most beautiful natural freshwater lakes located in a mountainous region. Renowned for its exceptional natural beauty, the lake consists of three interconnected bodies of water fed by two major rivers at its southern end before flowing into the Năng River in the north. Ba Bể Lake has never run dry, and its crystal-clear waters remain pristine throughout the year. While cruising across the lake, visitors can admire spectacular limestone mountains, lush forests, and peaceful waterscapes. The region is also famous for its local delicacies, including fresh fish and shrimp raised in the lake, as well as traditional specialties such as free-range hill chicken, wild forest vegetables, suckling pig, upland sticky rice, and bamboo shoots. 07:00 PM: Dinner will be served at a local restaurant. After dinner, you may relax at your leisure or join an optional campfire and cultural exchange program, featuring traditional music and dance performances by local Tày ethnic minority artists (optional and at your own expense). Along the way, you will have the opportunity to admire the breathtaking landscapes of Vietnam’s Northeast region, with its rolling mountains, lush forests, and picturesque countryside. 11:00 AM: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and sample some of Cao Bằng’s renowned regional specialties. 12:30 PM: Continue to Bản Giốc Waterfall, one of Vietnam’s most spectacular natural attractions. Standing 53 meters high and cascading over three levels, Bản Giốc is widely regarded as the most beautiful waterfall in Vietnam and the largest natural waterfall in Southeast Asia. Located on the border between Vietnam and China, it is also home to important national boundary markers symbolizing the country's sovereignty. 03:30 PM: Visit Phật Tích Trúc Lâm Bản Giốc Pagoda, a serene Buddhist temple complex covering an area of 3 hectares. Nestled against the slopes of Phia Nhằm Mountain, the pagoda offers panoramic views of the majestic Bản Giốc Waterfall and the surrounding countryside. 04:30 PM: On the return journey, stop at Phúc Sen Blacksmith Village, a traditional craft village famous throughout Vietnam for its centuries-old blacksmithing heritage. The village is home to the Nùng ethnic community, whose handcrafted agricultural tools have long been an essential part of local life and culture. 05:30 PM: Arrive at your hotel in Cao Bằng City. Check in and enjoy some time to relax. 07:00 PM: Dinner will be served at a local restaurant. After dinner, you are free to explore Cao Bằng City at your leisure, experience the local atmosphere, or enjoy a leisurely evening stroll through the city. 06:30 AM: Wake up, enjoy breakfast, and complete the hotel check-out procedures. Afterwards, depart for Pác Bó Cave and Lenin Stream, one of the most important revolutionary historical sites in Vietnam. Pác Bó is where President Hồ Chí Minh lived and worked after returning to Vietnam in 1941, directly leading the revolutionary movement during a crucial period in the nation's history. The name Pác Bó literally means “the mouth of the source” in the local Tày language. A visit to this historic site offers valuable insight into the life, dedication, and legacy of President Hồ Chí Minh. Here, visitors can see the simple conditions under which he lived and worked, immortalized in his famous poem: In the morning by the stream, in the evening in the cave, Corn porridge and bamboo shoots are always ready. On a rugged stone table, translating Party history, What a luxurious life for a revolutionary! 11:00 AM: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Cao Bằng City. 12:30 PM: Depart for Hanoi. Along the way, there will be a stop for rest and refreshments, where you may sample local specialties or purchase souvenirs at your own expense. 06:30 PM: Arrive in Hanoi, marking the end of your journey.
