The trip takes you to the majestic beauty of the Northeast mountains and forests, exploring famous landmarks such as Ba Be Lake – the green jewel amid the wilderness, Ban Gioc Waterfall – the largest waterfall in Southeast Asia, and the Pac Bo historical site – a place associated with President Ho Chi Minh.
In the morning, the group departs from Hanoi to Bac Kan, stopping for lunch in the town of Cho Ra. Afterward, check in at Pac Ngoi hamlet, home to the Tay ethnic people. In the afternoon, visitors board a boat to explore Ba Be Lake – one of the largest and most beautiful natural freshwater lakes in the world. The lake's water is clear blue all year round, with poetic, peaceful scenery. In addition, visitors have the chance to enjoy local specialties such as lake fish, grilled shrimp, hill chicken, upland sticky rice, bamboo shoots, and more. In the evening, the group dines in a traditional stilt house and can take part in a cultural performance exchange and campfire with the Tay community (at your own expense).
After breakfast, the group travels to Cao Bang, where the majestic Northeast mountains and forests await. The group stops for lunch with local specialties before continuing the journey to visit Ban Gioc Waterfall – the largest waterfall in Vietnam, located along the border with China. Here, visitors will admire the magnificent beauty of the 53m-high waterfall cascading down stone tiers to create a splendid natural scene. Continuing the journey, the group visits Phat Tich Truc Lam Ban Gioc Pagoda, a sacred and beautiful site nestled amid the Northeast mountains and forests. On the way back, visitors stop to tour the Phuc Sen blacksmith village – a long-standing traditional craft village of the Nung people. In the evening, the group returns to the hotel in Cao Bang City, enjoys dinner, and is free to explore the city by night.
After breakfast, the group sets off to visit the Pac Bo historical site, where President Ho Chi Minh once lived and worked after returning from abroad. Visitors will have the chance to visit Pac Bo Cave and Lenin Stream and feel the deeply meaningful historical atmosphere. After the exploration, the group has lunch in Cao Bang City before boarding the bus to return to Hanoi. On the way back, the group stops to enjoy local specialties. At around 6:30 p.m., the bus brings the group back to the meeting point, ending a trip full of memories.
